As the head of the R&D department at Sohay Inn co., an Egyptian real estate development company operating under ESG umbrella and responsible investment principles. We have taken it upon ourselves to implement the role of the real estate sector in facing climate change through constructing new or renovating existing buildings to be sustainable, smart and green.My core work is how to save our natural resources, utilize renewable resources, and mitigate carbon emissions, contributing to the achievement of the SDGs and reducing the impact on the environment, by transforming buildings from consumption to production and from wastefulness to conservation and how to make buildings adapt to climate change via an integrated environmental system.I am also a researcher in environmental science, water resources management, renewable energy and natural resources conservation. My research interest is to find solutions for drought problems induced by climate change, as well as ensuring global water security, especially for areas with high water scarcity. I'm seeking to provide innovating freshwater sources for isolated areas that lack access to water or electricity sources, achieving the life equation: Energy + Water = Life everywhere. I aspire to gain the experience that would label me as an expert in the field of environmental science, sustainability and how to solve the emerging environmental issues.
