TensorFlow Tooling * Simplifying the developer experience through refactoring and elimination of technical debt, simplifying internal build systems and streamlining the open sourcing process.

Chronicle's Search and Indexing Platform * Enabled customers to search through years of historical security telemetry in seconds by working with 2 other engineers to design, deliver and refine a raw log search service. * Optimized data processing pipelines to enable significant customer growth and substantial data volume growth. * Simplified the authentication stack, eliminating over half of the services, enabling service replication, eliminated downtime during configuration updates, and enabled semi-automatic rollbacks. * Laid the foundation for customers to be able to locate real-time and historical threats by implementing a rules engine with 3 other engineers.

2017-2018: Google Maps Core APIs * Technical Lead for a team of 8 responsible for serving infrastructure powering most of Google's 3rd party Maps products. * Undertook an effort to modernize the serving infrastructure of 13 servers and 40+ APIs shedding 10+ years of technical debt and legacy code to place Google's Enterprise Maps business on a solid and sustainable footing. * Supported and guided the migration off of internal legacy billing and quota systems to Google Cloud's modern quota and billing systems in preparation of the Google Maps Platform launch.2015-2017: Terra Bella/SkyBox Satellite Ground Systems * Technical Lead of an 8 person team responsible for software running on the ground to gather, manage, track and task satellite imagery. * Enabled a 10x increase in imagery processing capacity through a pipeline redesign and supporting a fully replicated system. * Tied together all image processing functions, from scheduling to QA, by designing and implementing an order management and tracking system enabling end-to-end whole system automation. * Supported the sale of Terra Bella assets to Planet through knowledge transfers, as well as re-implementing significant chunks of the image management pipeline on top of open source technologies.2011-2014: YouTube Video Management and Creator Platform * Technical Lead of a team responsible for both platform components and the main video management experience for creators on YouTube. * Grew the team from 2 to 12 engineers, expanded team responsibilities from a part of the YouTube creator experience to being responsible for much of the overall experience. * Enabled more complex content management through the design, implementation and delivery of a new real time search index, bulk actions, unification of YTs content management systems as well as supported the launch of the creator Android and iOS experiences.

Performed research into the dynamics of super-capacitors through quantum electrodynamics simulations. Transitioned the serial quantum simulation program to run in a multi-processor multi-node supercomputer environment.
