Centennial Park Conservancy is a nonprofit organization in Nashville that hosts a free program for children and families called Kidsville. My role with CPC is to promote the Kidsville program on Instagram and Facebook, as well as coordinate newsletters, and monitor media mentions through the week. Occasionally, I also attend events to take photos for promotional purposes.

Public Health Connected is a nonprofit organization founded in 2020 to help bringhealthcare resources to underserved communities. My responsibilities as socialmedia coordinator entailed bringing awareness about the organization through digitalplatforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I created an evergreen, robustsocial media strategy and social media calendar for the organization, as well asprovided web copy, media relations, and digital marketing strategy.

As a writer for Development and Alumni Relations, my primary responsibilitiesincluded project management for campaign communications and marketing copy. Mydepartment’s objectives were to send out correspondence to alumni, parents, currentstudents and other Vanderbilt University constituents to inform them about differentways they were able to give back to the university. Additional responsibilities includedsocial media campaigns and marketing, communication plans for university events,photography, and event management.

At Texas A&M-San Antonio, I managed the flagship social media accounts for the university. Primary responsibilities included content creation, video producing, graphic design, and digital campaign management. My position worked closely with enrollment to ensure that A&M-San Antonio was getting attention at a local and national level to increase awareness and brand recognition. Other responsibilities included event photography, teaching social media trainings with various departments, and creating and writing a strategic plan for the university’s social media accounts.

My position at A&M-Kingsville included managing the flagship social media accounts,graphic design, content scheduling, analytics tracking and utilizing the university’scontent management system to update the TAMUK.edu website with content andphotos. Other responsibilities included drafting and publishing the weekly universitynewsletter, writing press releases, and writing feature stories for the universityalumni magazine, Javelina Today.

My responsibilities with Texas State Technical College included story writing, event photography, social media management, and media relations. I maintained relationships with local media to ensure that TSTC received daily, or weekly media mentions via newspaper, television or digital platforms. The primary goal was to write between 20 and 30 feature stories a month for the college with the main objective being making sure that more than half of them were picked up by statewide media outlets.

Managed social media accounts for Visit California through the ICUC Social Media Company. Accounts included Visit California's Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Youtube pages. Monitored engagement nightly on every platform to help maintain the positive reputation of the company.
