Responsible for administering many different areas of Human Resources at my hotel. Everything from Leaves of Absence, Benefits, Recruiting, Team Member Relations, and Workers' Compensation. Also responsible for ensuring that we are compliant with all Federal and State laws and regulations.

Was responsible for the recruiting and hiring efforts for a 1572 room hotel property in the heart of the Anaheim Resort District. Sourced applicants and conducted initial interviews for all open positions. Ensured recruiting/hiring process was quick, efficient, and effective. Maintained compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations as well as our CBA. Processed pre-employment Background Investigations, Drug Tests, and references in accordance with company policies and assisted with onboarding new Team Members using both Taleo and PeopleSoft.

Supported the Director and Assistant Director of Human Resources with day-to-day tasks and special projects while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality. Managed both of their calendars, arranged travel plans, answered/routed incoming calls, etc. Other duties included supporting the rest of the HR Team as needed, coordinating Team Member Relations activities/events for the hotel, and assisting Team Members by answering their questions or directing them to the appropriate person.

Assisted in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources office which included, filing, answering phones, and answering Team Member, Manager, and applicant questions. Posted open positions online, entered new hires into our database, assisted in completion of the pre-employment and new hire/onboarding process.
