Known professionally as Kid Problem, I'm a social media influencer, content creator, youth counselor, rapper, entertainer, and actor who's inspired to change the world with my raw and energetic talent and unorthodox swag. I've amassed a nearly 60K following on Instagram by bursting on the scene and sharing my gifts with the world. As someone who's dealt with hardships, pain, and brutality, I've taken my personal experiences and put them on display for the youth so they don't repeat the same mistakes. On Instagram, I have this character, Tyvon, who's an urban inner city kid who's highly influenced by his environment and the music industry. I mobilize my content and platform to dismantle the harmful images, negative depictions, and stereotypes placed upon Black and Brown people, illustrating that there's a different side of us that isn't widely circulated in the media. Hailing from Irvington, NJ, I deeply care about my community, and conduct numerous speaking engagements at local schools and neighborhood centers in order to restore, edify, and elevate young people who may be lost, troubled, or misguided. I launched KP Mentoring and Change Starts With Us to steer the youth into making more constructive and beneficial life choices. I'm a supportive and compassionate mentor who genuinely empathizes with mentees' daily struggles, fundamentally helping them achieve their personal aspirations, reinforcing in them the value of emotional intelligence and not being reactionary to certain situations, and connecting them to the proper mental health and guidance opportunities. I'm committed to breaking generational trauma and curses, fortifying restorative justice, eradicating stigmas associated with single-parent and low-income households, and advancing the Black and Brown community.On top of my youth counseling and mentorship work, I'm also a lyrical MC who has sharp skills with a mic and a pen. With inspirations ranging from Tupac to Nas, I produce dynamic songs that infuse wavy tones with enthralling storytelling. I've performed at multiple local showcases, working alongside notable Hip Hop figures such as Fetty Wap and Fat Boy. My musical style and ability promise an innovative sound that's unique from any other rapper out. My work ethic proves that I'm an all-around entertainer and ready to put my city on the map.
