• Maintainer of core kiosk application and devops system (in-house staging infrastructure, Jenkins, nightly backups, chef server, etc.)• Boosted the capabilities of our remote management/administration system allowing our operations team to cut down on their service and operational costs by > 50% over one year.• Designed framework for injecting rich interactive on-screen content: digital signage, slideshows, and surveys allowing us to boost monthly service contract income by 15%• Served as technology liason from our company with our California-based manufacturer. Worked on-site with their electrical and and mechanical engineers to test hardware+construction configurations and inform on hardware requirements, QA, and construction.• Implemented near-real-time alerting for kiosks (hardware failure, power disruption, network issues, tamper/intrusion detection) allowing our operations team and our operators to be proactive about issues and adapting their response to reduce their service costs.

Psychological and Brain Sciences Department – Vision and Cognition Laboratory• Processed raw data collected from Panamath (http://panamath.org) – a number sense experiment.• Developed a novel web application (http://www.halberdalab.net/pnas2012) capable of allowing viewers to visualize the 13,000+ pieces of collected data in-browser.• Implemented a ‘movie’ export process supported by client-side rendering and subsequent server-side processing.
