As part of Cogneeto's leadership team, I assist in setting out peerScholar's strategy and strategic priorities. peerScholar is Cogneeto's flagship product. I advise on business growth and direction, market penetration, sales and marketing strategies. As in any start up, I wear different hats, preparing investors pitch decks, financial models and valuations, recruitment plans, organizational structures, customer board meeting packs, etc.

I have developed the business strategy, market entry plan, and operations model for Pet Lodge, a leading pet services provider in Amman Jordan. Pet Lodge currently is a premium provider of kennel & cattery services to pet owners, providing boarding services to cats and dogs while their owners are busy or travelling. Since 2015, Pet Lodge has managed to break through the high-barrier & protected pet services market in Amman and to secure leading position in terms of market share. Joining PwC and being part of its culture had such a profound impact on my career.Working in Capital Projects hand in hand with Infrastructure Advisory, Management Consulting (Portfolio and Program Management, Economics & Policy and Operations) operating in highly qualified and intelligent teams was a constant challenge, which I very much enjoyed.Based in Sydney but operating as part of a national team has given me the chance to work side-by-side with government and private sector clients in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne, and to be involved in different phases of strategic infrastructure and State-wide business transformation projects.

Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) is part of the Business School at UNSW Australia.As part of an exchange program, I completed 1 semester in London Business School. I was lucky to be enrolled in one of LBS's most popular subjects: Corporate Strategy, Project Management, Negotiations, and Mergers & Acquisitions.Part of the MBA program also included 2 courses at UNSW School of Aviation.More details are within education section below.

Project: Rehabilitation, Operation & Expansion of Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA)Amman, JordanContract value: US $800MAn award winning* PPP project that involved the construction of a state-of-art new terminal, and rehabilitation of airside and landside facilities.Was lucky to work with an elite group of highly qualified Engineers in Jordan's largest and one of its most successful projects. I was part of AIG's corporate office technical team, where I managed numerous projects with the operator (Aéroports de Paris), Ministry of Transport, the main contractor (J&P), independent engineers (WSP & Louis Berger), designers (Foster and Partners, Zuhair Fayez Partnership,etc), IATA, various consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers, in addition to AIG's finance, accounting, procurement, HR, security, communications, property management, safety, maintenance and engineering internal departments.From excavation in February 2009 to its opening in March 2013, I managed to be involved in all parts of the life cycle of the project!I had a number of responsibilities ranging on a spectrum of purely technical to purely commercial. Project: Dualization of Sohar – Buraimi Road Project (SBD)Sohar- OmanContract value: US $124MI moved to this project during its final stages. It was considered as a promotion to move from a Site Engineer to an Office Engineer, and the project manager saw I had potentials!Despite it was in its final stages, I learned a lot about managing a Design office, and covering the duties of Planning office.I am grateful I could contribute to another CCC successful project, and that I was exposed to a Road dualization project that involved constructing 80km of roads, bridges, tunnels in the middle of the mountainous terrain of Suhar in Oman.I met a lot of interesting people who are still good friends!

Project: Wadi Dayqah Dams project (WDD)Qurayat- OmanConsolidated Contractors Company-Vinci Construction JV.Contract value: US $115MWorking with CCC was a dream coming true!Joining this giant Contractor (ranked 12th in the world in terms of revenue) was the starting point of my career. I owe my good start to CCC!Rough isolated terrain, high temperatures and humidity, and constant danger of a flood was all mitigated by the great team work spirit among CCC teams and with other key players, the well executed plans, and the role model leadership that we had (that also set an example for us as site leaders).Hurricane Guno hit Oman and the valley where we were building the dams really bad! One of its few good outcomes, is that everyone was even more motivated to: finish the project on time, within budget, and as per CCC-Vinci quality!Despite being amongst the youngest Engineers, I earned my "maellem" nickname! I led my teams successfully, and consistently broke production targets, and I have contributed to almost every section and team throughout the project!I met highly motivated professionals with deep pockets of valuable experiences! I am lucky to name those professionals my friends!

Roads service is a government organisation that maintains roads, bridges, tunnels in Belfast, performs necessary upgrades, & manages any new construction works. My role included:- Inspecting bridges and identifying required maintenance actions.- Assessing roads and parking spaces, recognized and designed required changes.

Phoenix Contracting Company established in 2002, still provides services to local private clients, in residential and commercial developments.My role with them included:- Site supervision and safety (formwork installation, concrete pouring, internal finishes, electrical and plumbing fitouts)- Project management support (cost, schedule, resource management)
