Senior Mechanical Engineer - Automation And Transportation Design
In my most recent role, I served as the Lead Engineer and Project Manager on automation and transportation design engineering projects from conception to production, including developing business cases, building core teams, leading engineering development, and gaining commitment from stakeholders to execute projects. One of my greatest achievements was developing a business case and project team to modernize the paper label tracking process, gaining commitment from stakeholders for resources and developing a digital dashboard to monitor and track KPIs on a project to reduce scrap loss due to lost material traceability with a projected cost recovery of $1.3M annually.

In this role, I remotely developed, organized, and managed capital expenditure (CapEx) projects with budgets ranging from $40K-$40M across the United States and South America related to reliability, safety, automation, process improvement, equipment upgrades, line expansion, and line installation. One of my greatest achievements during my time here was, leveraging creative thinking to conceptualize and execute a solution to improve throughput during maintenance downtime on a sold-out product line, which saved over $2.8M yearly in production loss.
