15 years of experience in manufacturing, mainly in automotive industry. I believe that QUALITY is an endless trip PLANNING not a final destination. The quality should be a collective intelligence, mindset, empowerment and a strategic business plan. And all I have noticed previously is useless without data, as we said, “who has the data has the power”. And by transforming the data into technical or systemic information (using quality tools like MSA, SPC, risk assessment…) you have the wise start point to build the advanced quality of any process and product. The quality is about DOING what was already planned to be done, on time, effectively and efficiently. I had lead problems solving through 8Ds, Six Sigma workshop, SPC analysis, in which I had implemented a quality culture with an effective communication and workforce enhancing. Teamwork is the best opportunity to make the team as a family chasing a unique target. Ones things are done, I coach my team to follow up and CHECK results: red flag is shown up when things is going wrong or green flag is shown up to say “Hoppa”. Then, what? It is never allowed to say, “We are good enough”. And here the creation of the new destination, deployment of good practice, correct a systemic root cause, chasing new opportunities and erase existing threats. Then we end up again by the planning to ACT.Last and not least, I am the one who believes that our world is changing quickly at the point that requires us to be agile, more than just flexible. However, let us keep in mind that our same world is already in a climate emergency. This is also a Global Quality concern.
