Compliance Manager
CurrentIn my capacity as Compliance Manager, I am responsible for ensuring global adherence to various compliance areas, including:- Trade compliance, focusing on customs, export controls, ITAR, etc.- Managing relationships with governmental and regulatory bodies to facilitate compliance and address inquiries or audits.- Data privacy compliance in line with GDPR.- Develop, implement, and monitor our ethical business program.- Coordinating with IT to safeguard sensitive (trade-related) data from cyber threats.- Implementing and overseeing internal controls to prevent violations of various regulations.- Developing and organizing training sessions to educate staff on compliance policies and best practices, ensuring that our team is well-informed and capable of upholding our compliance standards.- Monitor changes in (trade) regulations and advise the organization on necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.ASCO Industries engages in the development, manufacture, treatment, and assembly of steel and titanium high precision components for the aerospace industry.
