1) Project Execution. Prepare, plan the execution of idea/initiative/projects related to process control and automation in line with related PETRONAS work processes from feasibility study, safe implementation of change and post project evaluation in order to maximize value and supporting business sustainability and growth. 2) Process Control and Optimization. Plan and execute the process optimization activities by monitoring the process control and automation applications such as product component shifting, identify and trouble shoot operating problems, implement the remedial measures at cost effective approach in order to achieve high production yield whilst minimizing energy consumption.3) Technical Support. Perform technical support function on process control and automation related activities and provide information in accordance to Business' requirements for appropriate decision making.4) Applications Strategies. Plan and implement process control and automation strategies in accordance to profitable market conditions set by business/enterprise planners, evaluating technologies that delivers the objectives with cost effective approach. 5) Applications Maintenance. Identify and analyse the performance gaps of all elements within the process control and automation applications. Implement and maintain all applications related to process control and automation so as to achieve highest system availability, data quality that will support the outstanding performance of the process control and automation applications6) Plant Information Management System (PIMS) Maintenance. Provide contract management, maintenance and user support for the installed Plant Information Management System (PIMS) database and applications by close monitoring on system performance and perform necessary troubleshooting so as to allow users to effectively monitor plant performance on a continuous basis and to provide a stable platform for large scale analysis of issues in the plant.
