Police Officer
Current- Conduct a variety of criminal investigations including misdemeanor and felony charges- Handle a variety of department issued equipment and weapons proficiently- Plan and execute tactical operations including serving search and arrest warrants- Provide a safe community for the citizens of Charlotte North Carolina- Make visible and/or forcible arrest when necessary for misdemeanor and felony offenses- Enforce state and local laws through community policing and relationship building- Ensure safety and security of school campus- Establish a liaison with school faculty, staff, students, and parents- Investigate violations of criminal laws occurring on school property- Lead and direct fellow officers while working school related functions- Incorporate crime prevention programs to partner with and educate youth, staff and Patrol Divisions- Maintain and support youth-based Community Engagement activities- Teach or present to students on various topics
