Responsible for long-term strategic IT support of the industry-dominant balance-transfer product for debt repayment with revenues over $125 MM. Manage staff of 15-20 project managers, developers, analysts and contractors.• Fathered Wiki technology in the organization to capture “tribal knowledge”, index documentation of Boise site’s information systems and facilitate departmental collaboration.• Trained business and technical associates on effective application of Use Cases to make software requirements more accessible to designers and business customers.• Key organizer of IT associate morale committee.• Participated in creation and implementation of customized Project Delivery Methodology and the effort to achieve CMMI Level 2.

Reinvented the company’s IT organization and infrastructure. Conceptualized a series of integrated services to support the company’s goal of doubling its $50+ MM business, then built staff and initiated projects to deliver them. Led a group of five international master’s students in developing a technology solution that would extend the viability of river shipping to a larger set of commodities than what is currently shipped. System has a patent pending. • Successfully brought together stakeholders with conflicting interests to develop a mutually beneficial approach to improving cargo barge transit of river locks.• Led a diverse team to define and prototype a system to move cargo barges through river locks more quickly, safely and consistently. System now has a patent pending.• Developed a prototype system expected to produce a 218% return on investment to river operators in their first year. • Project completed successful beta demonstration on the Ohio River for final pre-deployment testing in fall of 2005.

Built a product feature promised by sales executive in 36 hours and assisted in its demonstration.
