Dr. Nakra has authored over 75 peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters, and has been an invited keynote speaker at major conferences around the world. Some recent highlights: he was the 2023 Inaugural Normal Shorr Lecturer at the UCLA Stein Eye Institute and is the recipient of the 2024 Henry Baylis Cosmetic Surgery Award by the American Society of Oculofacial Plastic Surgery. His passion for facial aesthetics led to his co-founding AVYA Skincare- a luxury skincare line that blends advanced skincare science with ayurvedic medicine botanicals.
