Tanuj Nakra MD FACS is a UCLA-trained triple board-certified facial & ophthalmic plastic surgeon. He's frequently recognized as a Top Doctor by Austin Monthly, Castle Connolly and Texas Monthly. Dr. Nakra is a full-time faculty member at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, and is a partner at TOC Eye and Face. He is a Fellowship Director for the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and preceptor for the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Nakra has authored over 75 peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters, and has been an invited keynote speaker at major conferences around the world. Some recent highlights: he was the 2023 Inaugural Normal Shorr Lecturer at the UCLA Stein Eye Institute and is the recipient of the 2024 Henry Baylis Cosmetic Surgery Award by the American Society of Oculofacial Plastic Surgery.
