About Naleh Park
I graduated with a BFA in Product Design from Parsons the New School for Design. Since graduating, I have worked in shops that include but not limited to woodworking, ceramics and glass. I enjoy learning different techniques and concepts when building and designing. Working in a fast paced industry has improved the quality and efficiency in how I work. Currently I work at Stand And Build, a shop that does a wide range of fabrication for residential and commercial spaces. My role entails project managing my team to build and install temporary displays for luxury brands, department stores and pop up shops. We also build custom cabinetry and furniture for residential spaces. I have also been their head finisher for about four years. We use high quality lacquer, stains, applying oils and sealants on a variety of surfaces as well as repairs. Working with a diverse range of clients and companies allows me to be adaptive and well rounded in the things I make and design.

As an independent study, a small group of Parsons students proposed sustainable tabletop centerpieces for use at a New York City fund-raising gala. Each of three prototypes is a tableau of an ecosystem that exists in the New York State region, and is composed of locally sourced or reused elements, including soy candles produced in upstate New York, found branches, 3-d printed beneficial insects, and native species dried flowers procured at a local farmer's market.
