SunFunder is a company in the solar energy sector providing financing for solar assets in the emerging economies including inventory, working capital, construction, and structured finance loans. SunFunder is a well-positioned financial intermediary that has been operating since 2012. As a Systems Support Officer, my roles include supporting the team in effective use of the the software tools that we use to realise maximum benefit from them.

Kajiado County

KIT in collaboration with five NGO's has been working in Kajiado Kenya to tackle issues that have been preventing girls in this region from completing their education. Some of these issues are FGM, child marriage and teenage pregnancies. As the knowledge partner in the alliance, KIT is responsible for conducting research to see the behavioural change of community and gate keepers, meaningful engagement of girls and boys in claiming their sexual reproductive health services and the alternatives to these practices through education and economic empowerment.I have been involved in data collection, analysis and report writing of the various research projects undertaken and together with the monitoring and evaluation teams of the other partners, participated in a number of workshops aimed at strengthening the avenues used to realising the main objectives of the project.
