SPUR Innovation is a hub for technological innovation and business acceleration. We provide funding and resources to startups, specifically focusing in AI, quantum computing, and high performance computing. At SPUR I drive business development by working directly with startup companies to help manage operations. I also identify and navigate funding opportunities, specializing in securing grants for R&D initiatives.

Throughout BrokerPocket's growth I have played a key role in the strategic direction of the company. Driven by ambitious vision and a deep understanding of the needs of the market I helped raise over $700k in seed-round capital funding by finding and pitching to investors. I conduct market research, build relationships with stakeholders, and work with company executives to formulate and execute growth strategies. I have successfully spearheaded various initiatives to increase industry exposure and maximize organic growth. I've found the sweet spot between strategic planning and hands-on involvement that has allowed me drive growth, assess risks, and identify new opportunities while ensure we remain aligned with our mission and the needs of the market.

I joined the team as the 5th employee of a small tech startup and played a pivotal role in managing the hiring and onboarding process that led to its growth into a mid-sized company. Day-to-day I managed team members' OKRs to drive performance, track effectiveness of operations, and implement solution to improve processes. Working closely with key stakeholders while collaborating between teams and departments, I manage projects and ensure seamless communication across the organization. I provide leadership and support to team members to foster productivity and growth, and improve employee retention.

Drafting and preparing various documents, managing project meetings, collaborating with different departments to optimize resource allocation, organizing events, serving as the main contact for the executive team and stakeholders, and maintaining organized information systems.During my time in this role I worked very closely with the CEO of a quickly growing company. This gave me an incredible opportunity to witness and learn first-hand how to optimize business operations and manage a team. Key roles involved administrative support, office management, project coordination, and relationship management. I acted as the liaison between the CEO, company executives, investors and key stakeholders to bridging communication.

Appeared at court hearings and proceedings as agent on behalf of clients and counsel. Handled various important and confidential documentation, scheduled court appearances, and conducted legal research to determine causes of action and assist lawyers in preparing cases. I grew a passion for research and problem-solving while working alongside law articling students in an industry that was completely new to me.
