A seasoned professional with 33 years of expertise in Marketing, Sales, and Distribution, I bring a wealth of knowledge and proven skills in Product management and Branding, Channel development, Project and Human resource management, and Public relations. I have played pivotal roles in Sri Lanka’s mobile telecommunications industry, notably contributing to the launch of mobile telephony with Celltel in 1989 and advancing to senior positions within Millicom International. My leadership has driven significant achievements, earning numerous accolades. Currently, I serve as Managing Director at the Sri Lanka Tourist Promotion Bureau, promoting Sri Lanka as a top travel destination. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (UK), a Master of Business Studies from the University of Colombo, and I am pursuing a PhD at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
