I am Nalinda Fernando, seasoned engineering professional with over 15 years of experience.In my current role as Product Support at Systronics S.R.L. in Arad Romania, I am responsible for ICT/Functional Test platform operations, Control and monitor FPY of test systems and Ensure production targets and deliver full on time. Prior to this position, I spent 12 year in GPV Lanka (Pvt) Ltd Subsidiary of GPV Group- Denmark. There I joined the company as a Test Development Engineer and I was responsible for design electronic and mechanical systems to cater with customer test requirement of PCBAs, Microcontroller programming with C language to drive the Test equipment, PCB designing for Test Equipment with Eagle software and Computer programming to drive the test equipment.Later at GPV Group I served in a challenging position as the Automation Engineer for entire factory promises and my job role included with Fabrication of precise test adaptors, drafting and designing of tools, Jigs, fixtures or any engineering drawing using AutoCAD / SolidWorks or other CAD software, Make drawings & specifications of existing factory layout or future layouts of the buildings, machinery locations & manufacturing process layouts, Providing Technical guidance and leadership to Workshop staff and Oversee preventive maintenance, condition and upgrade needed for workshop machineries. Early in my career, I worked as Electronic & Electrical Junior Engineer at Loadstar (PVT)Ltd Subsidiary of Camso Group, There I involve with Industrial Automated control systems, Industrial PLC programming and ladder language application of industrial PLCs, Industrial Automated control systems and industrial control programming in Labview and Design of mechanical systems to cater with customer requirement of Solidworks part design assemblyI have good education background as well with two diplomas related to the field of Electronics and Computer Hardware. I completed Diploma in Electronic & Electrical Technology at Electro Technical Training Institute in Sri Lanka 1998 to 2001. And also, I extended my studies and completed Diploma in Computer Hardware Engineering at Digitech Computer Systems in 1999.
