As a software engineering student at the University of Alberta, I have a strong foundation in programming languages and database management. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering with a CO-OP option, which allows me to gain valuable hands-on experience in the industry. One of my recent professional achievements was completing an eight-month internship at VNPT IT, a leading telecommunications enterprise in Vietnam. There, I collaborated with a team of software engineers to develop a cloud-based Web Application Firewall (WAF) platform, integrating advanced user management APIs and enhancing system security. I applied my proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, Git, Docker, and FastAPI to deliver a high-quality product that met the client's requirements and expectations. Besides my core software engineering skills, I have a growing interest in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, two rapidly evolving fields that fascinate me. I am actively seeking opportunities to delve deeper into them, whether it's understanding the intricacies of machine learning algorithms or exploring the latest trends in cyber defense.
