About Nimisha Gandhi
As an integrative nutritionist, published scientist, guided meditation teacher and former tech founder, I am well known for my passion, drive, and dedication to working with specific populations and growing communities. Through building my own successful nutrition and coaching practice, founding a tech company, and serving as a board member at several organizations I have first-hand experience in accessing the needs of communities and creating positive change. I am also personally passionate about changing the health paradigm for females and families. My approach to success is leading with empathy, grace, and alacrity. As the CEO of Glamour Games, I took on the various roles of product manager, designer, creative lead and coffee-runner. Glamour Games was a content creation gaming company that focused on women's interests in the Facebook gaming space. The company's first game, Perfect Wedding, grew to 1M users and utilized a steady revenue model. The company evolved to make content sharing games for iOS specific platforms.Prior to co-founding Glamour Games, I founded Club Dine In. Club Dine In was a hub that brought together sustainable food and passionate people. We raised $5000+ for Doctors Without Borders within a 36 hour time period. I also led farmers market tours, Ayurvedic seminars and cookbook clubs while partnering with local food leaders to ensure diversity, equity and inclusive methodologies. I worked in stimulant addictions research at both UCLA and the Baylor College of Medicine prior to entering the tech and preventative health world. I ran several studies concurrently while securing grants and applications in addition to working closely with the FDA and NIH.I earned a B.S. in Psychobiology from the University of California at Los Angeles and I am a certified Ayurvedic counselor from the Ayurvedic Institute of America. I received my certification in nutrition from the Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts while also getting certified as a Yoga Nidra teacher from the California College of Ayurveda.
