My purpose is to identify opportunities, share resources, help guide leaders in Kitsap County shape opinions and meet challenges in the community.Alongside the Leadership Kitsap Foundation Board of Directors, I set the tone, vision, and mission of the organization. We are responsible for managing and conducting business of the organization in ways that assure its financial stability and continuity, including its curriculum, policies, and the recruitment and selection of diverse program participants.

I am humbled by this unique opportunity to stand in for the current Executive Director at Leadership Kitsap Foundation for the foreseeable future. I have enjoyed learning the ropes as the Program Manager since June 2021 and am honored to take on this important role. From marketing, fundraising and development to facilitating, coordinating and scheduling, this position has me flexing and stretching every skill and mind muscle I can muster. I am filling some really big, impressive shoes to keep this organization thriving in the Interim. Appreciative of the opportunity to learn, I am soaking it all in the best I can to make it a seamless transition.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a student at EWU and most of that was because of my involvement in Alpha Kappa Psi. I couldn't have done it without the help and support of my Brothers. I admire the lessons learned and the people involved.

As a freelance designer, I have the freedom to come to you for an up close and personal work space, or work remotely. My favorite type of design is made for print. I love billboards, flyers, stationary, invitations, etc.; you name it, I will help make it happen. So far, I have been building my portfolio in the way of volunteer work. I have been able to capitalize on my skills in graphic design in order to assist non-profit organizations in creating awareness for resources among the community. That has been the most rewarding part of gaining such a unique skill. It helps that I have a huge passion for design and find it a wonderful topic of conversation.

Updating and maintaining company social media accounts, creating printed and web materials for marketing, devising an individual donor program including minor and major donors, implementing and maintaining the individual donor program, creating, marketing and publicizing publications such as the annual report and eNewsletters, and event planning for the organization.

Helped the company develop and implement marketing strategy including an editorial calender, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Yelp Pages, implemented a Flickr photo bank to increase SEO, reorganized photo library on public server and a new standard of marketing procedure throughout the company. Completed other projects such as: Design and Distribute Annual Report 2013, Plan multiple events for marketing and volunteer coordination such as work parties, fundraising and volunteer appreciation events, Fundraising through Grant Writing and event coordination including invites, decorations and creating social media buzz/hype. This as well as worked with community partners to coordinate mutual marketing efforts for revitalization projects in both Bremerton, WA and Spokane, WA. Over all, I accomplished my main goal of integrating the communications and marketing with impact measurement throughout their regional network so Community Frameworks can convey their message to both clients and supporters more effectively.Event Coordinator for the Kitsap Great Give Very Happy Hour and Silent Auction where I created, planned and executed the entire event with ideas and suggestions from my peers. I procured 21 donations for the silent auction after designing, creating, printing and distributing the invitations. Event Coordinator for NeighborWorks Week in Spokane headquarters where I planned and executed the event from the Bremerton office with the help of one liaison in the Spokane office. I procured donations for the volunteer based work party event through phone conversations and asks after designing, creating and editing the event flyers.

I assist the marketing director and director of sales in three locations by designing and creating marketing and advertising materials to further the sales of our services. I am also fully trained on their two phone systems to triage phone calls for over 300 companies at any given time. When I am not busy with marketing material, I am the go-to girl for straightening up and organizing the office from file cabinets to the mail room. I like the busy work when it contributes to the company's success on even the smallest level.

Worked directly with company owner to carry out her vision of each National Cheer leading and Dance Competition held. Much of event weekends consisted of: Accounting for trophy inventory,Enhancing participant experience, Event Set-up and Tear-down, Finding solutions for disgruntled cheer coaches,Manning, restocking and cashiering for the merchandise sales booth, Ordering and picking up staff lunches,Running miscellaneous "gopher" errands as needed,Tallying judge's totals after each round of competition, andTending to judge panels' needs.
