De Stichting Voormalig Gasthuis is de oudste nog bestaande liefdadigheidsinstelling van Breda en vormt daardoor onderdeel van het cultureel erfgoed van de stad. De geschiedenis van het Gasthuis gaat terug tot de tijd van het ontstaan van de stad Breda zelf.De Stichting heeft als doel de behartiging van het lichamelijk, geestelijk en sociaal – maatschappelijk welzijn van de ouderen te Breda.

Responsible for setting up and implementing a successful philanthropical fundraising program at Tilburg University to advance research & education. To be able to thrive philanthropical fundraising & impact, I was also responsible for building and maintaining engaging, stakeholder-centric relationships with all of Tilburg University's external relations a.o. alumni, private donors, corporations, ngo's, trusts & foundations.

Responsible for HRM, Finance & Control, Communications, ICT, Education Office, International Programs Office of the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM).The Tilburg School of Economics and Management is the oldest and largest school of Tilburg University. It focuses on research and education in the fields of Business and Economics. At that time the School had approximately 5600 students, employed some 450 academic staff members and had a revenue income of € 50 million. The main focus of my work was the implementation of a solid planning & control cycle and realizing reliable management information. Furthermore HR policy, operational excellence, transforming the organization from supply-driven to demand-driven, becoming more customer-centric was an important focus of attention.

Advisory & Consultancy offered legal, financial and consulting services to Medical Specialists. As head of this department I was a.o. responsible for HR policy, product development and customer service & satisfaction. In my role as consultant I was involved in legal, financial, organizational and logistic issues and challenges as part of various hospital mergers.

As Secretary General I was responsible for the Public Affairs of Medical Specialists. I was involved in national policy making and legislation, strategy, negotiations with various stakeholders i.e. Ministries, Insurance Companies, National Health Care Authority, Hospitals and Parliament.

The 'Nederlandse Specialisten Federatie' was one of the predecessors of the Dutch Federation of Medical Specialists.As managing director I held many roles:- Responsible for HR and daily operations of the office;- Responsible for acquiring and maintaining a network of strategic alliances;- Responsible for Public Affairs;- Advisory and consultancy;- Acquisition and retention of members of the Federation.

I was responsible for the co-creation and implementation of the strategic medical policy. I advised and supported the board of the Medical Staff on their daily managerial activities apart from their medical work. Professionalizing the professional collaborations between the hospital Executive Board and the board of the medical staff was a main focus point those days nationwide. This hospital was one of the first movers bringing me on board.
