In co-operation with the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, the University of Applied Arts Vienna and the University of Vienna (Faculty of Philosophy and Education) and the Federal Ministry of the Republic of Austria (BMEIA), the art factory baseCollective (Böhler/Granzer) grants 6 residential scholarships for artistic research and arts-based-philosophy at Adishakti Laboratory for Theatre Research. Our residency programme addresses artists and philosophers interested in the cross-over of art and philosophy, both, in theory and in practice.The research festival "Truth & Lies in Times of Fake News" gathers artists, philosophers and scholars from India and Europe. They investigate the disturbing fact that the distinction between facts, fictions and fakes has blurred in our post-thruth times. What does this mean for todays aesthetic practices? And for a philosophy to come? And for contemporary politics? Our cross-disciplinary research festival will face these questions conceptually and artistically in lectures, multi media exhibitions, performances, talks and sound interventions.
