 Working on applications hosted on AWS (AMAZON WEB SERVICES) and migrated applications to the AWS cloud.  Involved in design and implementation of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), DevOps tool chain and DevOps processes for agile projects.  Extensively worked on AWS services such as EC2, S3, SNS, SQS, IAM, CloudWatch, CodeDeploy, CloudFront, CloudFormation and VPC. Designed, configured, and managed public/private cloud infrastructures utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Public and Private Subnets, Security Groups, Route Tables, Elastic Load Balancer, Cloud Watch and IAM.  Increased EBS backed volume storage capacity when the root volume is full, using AWS EBS Volume feature.

 Configured and automated the Jenkins Build jobs for Continuous Integration. Integrated GIT into Jenkins to automate the code check-out process. Scheduled the LinuxCron jobs and Jenkins jobs for build automation. Experience in branching, tagging and maintaining the versions across the environments using SCM tools like Git and GitHub on Linux and Windows platforms. Used JIRA as Issue Tracking Tool. Worked on FTP servers for sending and receiving files between local and remote servers. Created various types of vagrant servers. Monitored system performance of virtual memory, managing swap space, disk utilization and CPU utilization using Nagios tool. Used RedHat Satellite Server for upgrading, installing Packages and patches in RedHat, and managing channels.

 Installing, configuring and administering Jenkins Continuous Integration (CI) tool on Linux machines along with adding/updating plugins such as GIT, Maven, and ANT. Expertise in using build tools like MAVEN and ANT for the building of deployable Artifacts such as war and ear from Source Code. Used Nagios monitoring tool for monitoring of servers. Responsible for scheduling the runs in the servers using CronTab. Installing RedHatLinux using kickstart and applying security polices for hardening the server based on the company policies. Configured various services like DNS, DHCP, and Apache Web Server, Telnet, HTTP, RPM Package Management and others.

 Wrote custom puppet modules for managing the full application stack (Tomcat/httpd/MySQL/Java).  Carried Deployments and builds on various environments using continuous integration tool.  Developed and implemented the software release management for the release of web applications.  Worked on ANT and MAVEN Scripts to automate the build process.  Worked closely with development team and SQA team for product releases.  Implemented Configuration Management, Change Management policies and procedures.  Worked as a system administrator for the build and deployments process on the enterprise server.  Documented project's software release management procedures with input decisions.  Developed, maintained, and distributed release notes for each scheduled release.  Performed various troubleshooting and maintenance operations in Windows Server environments
