Working in the apparel supply chain industry for eleven years, I have gained in-depth knowledge in product development, sourcing, and manufacturing. Recognized as a star performer throughout my tenure, I was applauded for my "out of the box" thinking, leadership skills, extensive product understanding, and client relationships. Gradually I worked my way up to being an important part of the strategy formulation team. Over the last few years, I grew uncomfortable with the harsh impact the textile industry is leaving on the planet. As an environment enthusiast, I initiated and executed an eclectic range of sustainable projects. I desired to mold my passion in a way that allows me to make larger contributions to influencing change. After having upskilled myself with an MBA, I am now working as a consultant on projects that help clients on their sustainable supply chain journey. I am also an active sustainable fashion advocate and activist.
