About Nan Albertson

I was born and raised in the US, but lived most of my adult life in Sweden. I have a Ph.D. in microbiology, and post doc experience in medical microbiology, biochemistry and molecular biology. After 20 years at AstraZeneca in preclinical research and screening informatics, I obtained a teachers degree in high school chemistry.In 2017 I started GBG BeerLab AB, a small company which serves the craft beer industry with quality control analyses. I also work as an educator in microbiology and quality at Sweden's higher vocational schools for brewing.I have continued to work with screening informatics as a consultant.
