About Nan Morrison

I am an artist, love to paint and draw, enjoy seeing where my inspirations lead and active as a volunteer in my community. Since May, 2009, I've enjoyed a large studio space at the Columbia Pike Artist Studios in Arlington, VA. A docent at the National Gallery of Art, I get a great deal of satisfaction by educating people about art, culture and art history. Currently I teach occasional art history courses for Encore Learning, a non-profit organization in Arlington, Va., and formerly taught Renaissance art and culture for Georgetown University. Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., I moved to Washington, D.C. in 1978.

Donatello, Giotto, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Durer are only a few of the artists studied.
