VLP Productions provides backstage services for events. My main tasks were backstage running for concerts and other events at Horsens & Friends as well as managing backstage at SPOT Festival in Aarhus.

I am event coordinator and lead of events at FÆNGSLET, the former State Penitentiary of Horsens. Today, FÆNGSLET is a cultural institution that encompasses The Prison Museum, the city’s tourist information center VISITHORSENS, the prison hotel SleepIn Fængslet, business events, festivals, concerts, the shared office space FÆNGSLET 2. EAST and much more.

I have been a part of a great communications department in the European Capital of Culture Aarhus 2017. However, I primarily functioned as an event assistant in a small team, where the main task was to support the different departments in regards to our many events. My contract here ended December 31st 2017, but from January 1st 2018 I have been hired in the Strategic Operations department.I primarily work with planning and running of events, with tasks such as:- Activating sponsorships- Ticketing and seating- Venue management- Negotiations with suppliers- Purchases- Volunteer team coordination- Show callsIn short: keeping the event on time, track and budget!... But I also work with:- Text production such as invitations, information letters, articles and news- Administration of invitations, guest lists etc.- Translations to and from both English and Danish- Proof reading in English and Danish- Social mediaI was responsible for planning and running the HYPOTHETICALS debates in Aarhus Theatre, all exhibition openings at the 'O' Space gallery, and the opening of the 101 Friendship Park in Skejby. I was also coresponsible for planning and handling the press at the Official Opening on January 21st 2017 in The Concert Hall. Furthermore, I have written a number of articles regarding the many volunteers building boats and participating in the procession on January 21st 2017.

As a substitute teacher in the elementary school, I primarily taught children in grades 3-5, but I also experienced the preparatory classes as well as the elder classes.
