I guide students through the entire design process, from ideation to prototyping, teaching principles of user-centered design, ergonomics, aesthetics, accessibility, and inclusion. I have taught occupational ergonomics for the Industrial Engineering program and led an ergonomics workshop focusing on design, behavioral psychology, aesthetic design, and portfolio development for the Innovation and Design Engineering program. My work emphasizes aligning design choices with user needs and real-world constraints, fostering critical thinking and creativity in students to deliver innovative, practical, and user-friendly solutions.

I recruited participants and conducted both qualitative and quantitative research studies tailored to client needs, employing various methodologies to collect and analyze data. I proposed solutions to identified issues and created comprehensive reports to communicate findings to stakeholders, influencing design and business decisions. My expertise includes expert evaluations, contextual interviews, usability tests, and innovation research. I developed personas, analyzed experience journeys, and applied design thinking methodologies. I utilized A/B testing, card sorting, and heuristic evaluations to enhance user experience and increase conversion rates. Additionally, I applied Agile Scrum methodology to manage and prioritize tasks, ensuring efficient and collaborative project execution.

As a freelance interior designer, I worked on residential and office projects across various parts of Mexico, developing custom furniture designs based on clients' needs. I applied ergonomic principles to every project, ensuring that each piece and layout enhanced comfort, efficiency, and functionality. My designs focused on improving user experience by balancing aesthetics with practical usability. This work allowed me to create unique, comfortable environments that positively impacted the daily lives of individuals in both their homes and workplaces.

I have taught ergonomics applications to interior design students, helping them understand how to create functional and user-friendly spaces. Additionally, I have instructed graphic design students in perception psychology, focusing on how visual elements influence user experience and behavior. My teaching emphasizes the integration of ergonomic principles and psychological insights into design processes, guiding students to create thoughtful, user-centered, and aesthetically engaging solutions

As an Occupational Ergonomics Chair, I taught key subjects such as anthropometry, biomechanics, environmental factors, and workplace evaluation.
