I provide direct care for the residents of the facility. I drive them, bathe, dress and feed them. I do thier laundry. This is a live in position, so its a bit like being a nanny, except these are adults, not children.

I worked as an outdoor educator in the New England area. My duties included leading groups of students in ecological/team building experiences called "Field Groups" in the morning and teachng science, math, and candle making in the afternoons. In the evening I led my "Field Group" in various science, biology and history focused activites.

I taught 1st graders the general subjects. I also coached Junior High Track and ran the school's Market Day food Co-op.

I directed the daycare, acted as school principal, and taught Jr. High full time.During my tenure, the school grew from 19 to 60 students and went from being a K-8 facility to a Pre-k through 12 facility. I also implemented a sports program which included traveling teams for volleyball, basketball and cheerleading. I coached volleyball as well.Additionally I led worship, was a member of the Worship team and preached.

I taught Sunday School and directed the youth program on Wednesday nights and planned outings and activities for children in grades K-12. Additional duties included directing Vacation Bible School and accompanying students to church camp as a counselor. I also took on pastoral calling and preaching dutiese in the interim when the church was searching for a new pastor.

Directed the afterschool latchkey program and directed children's choir, which grew from 15 to 35 members. I supervised a staff of three, planned and implemented activities and tutoring as needed. I became a Lay Speaker, helped to implement a contemporary Saturday evening service and put together a worship team as well as planning the music. I ran rehearsals for the service when our music director could not attend.
