Acting as technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, and operatives;Checking plans, drawings and quantities of work;Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise;Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;Responsible for the on site running of the construction project, to keep within the timescale and budget of a project, and to manage the delays or problems encountered on-site during a construction project, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors;Making sure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications. Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant;Negotiation of materials and subcontractor prices, and making cost-effective solutions and propose for the intended project;Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or subcontractors;Liaising with: - any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;- the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws;- clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.Managing of quality control, health and safety checks and the inspection of work carried out;Preparing reports as required.

Perform support Quality Management System activities, involving the analysis of standards, preparation of training, documentation organization and other administrative support activities in order to contribute to achieving the objectives set by the company.
