Used statistical metrics such as standard deviation and kurtosis to identify outliers and mutli-modality in trends. Developed an image signal processor for Reduced Energy Microsystems for use in object recognition by neural networks. Co-authored paper on predictive technology models.* Modeled RAW to JPEG conversion in Python and implemented demosaicking and white-balancing algorithms based on open-source DCraw software. Tested object recognition capabilities with Tensorflow. Achieved 94% accuracy in identifying cat versus non-cat photographs, comparable to results from commercial image signal processors.* Co-authored paper titled “Evaluation of Predictive Technology Models” published in the Microelectronics Journal that compared predictive simulation models against commercial nanometer CMOS processes and identified the most realistic models for bulk and multigate simulations. Cited by 6 other papers on predictive technologies.
