This role will help in strengthening the business control environmentthrough proactive evaluation of controls, identification of issues and byproviding consultative guidance to the front-line business groups. Individual contributor role focusing on performing evidence-basedcontrol evaluations by conducting various evidence gathering activities. Conduct Walkthroughs to obtain understanding of how the controlexecution takes place. Document Narrative based on the walkthroughs conducted. Determine appropriate evaluation methodology for testing, Perform thecontrol evaluation for High and Moderate risk controls as per theestablished parameters (Design assessment and Performanceassessment). Create and execute the control evaluation test scripts, identify controldeficiencies, document and escalate potential issues to appropriatestakeholders. Understanding the Sampling methodology and selecting samples from thepopulation using relevant tools. Validate and track action plans, escalate issues as required and documentthe control test artifacts. Perform the review of Remediation plans for the control gaps identified(On an Ad- hoc basis assisted the Front Line Issue Verification Team) Engage and work with multiple stakeholders - front line business groups,risk program aligned functions and IRM teams for driving the objectivesof risk and control programs Instill and drive proactive risk culture, operational excellence andefficiencies
