Ms. Babb has been involved in the Commercial Property Management field in Silicon Valley for over 20 years, including project development, property management, and all levels of leasing aspects from market research to lease negotiations. Prior to joining Colliers International, Ms. Babb served as Vice President of Leasing and Property Management for the McCandless Management Corporation in Santa Clara, California. Her responsibility was for the overall management of the entire portfolio of buildings, including leasing and asset management in the Owner’s best interests relative to increasing long-term value and minimizing downside risk. Develop and maintain the staff support to manage the properties in a first class professional manner. This includes Operations, Marketing/Leasing and Staff Supervision. Her long- term relationship with the McCandless Corporation over the years included the daily management of commercial office, R&D, manufacturing, and warehouse facilities throughout Northern California. Experience includes negotiating lease documents, coordination of tenant improvements, accounting records and daily property management. Preparation of annual budgets for all properties as well as partnership relations with Cigna, TCW, Equitable, and Prudential Real Estate. In addition to marketing vacant space and working with commercial brokers in lease negotiations. Renewal of existing tenant leases upon termination. Previous development with the McCandless portfolio included the Greylands Business Park, McCandless Technology Park, McCandless Towers, Birk’s Restaurant, Menlo McCandless Office Center, 750 University and the San Tomas Business Park.
