In a 6 month time period, I trained 40 interior designer in Revit. Created 15 unique Revit training sessions and presented to the commercial design team to help them in their transition from using Autocad (2d) to Revit. Worked with consultants to launch the custom Revit template and customized the template for efficient use by the designers. Created custom Revit libraries and managed the company's drawing standards. Simultaneously, I trained 2 remote Revit technicians in Panama in the use of the TRIO template. Trained two local CAD technicians in the use of Revit, who were using CAD previously. Organized the projects in SmartSheets and created custom Sheets and forms that helped the Tech Team track deadlines. Was responsible for keeping the drawing scheduling on track and managing weekly meetings with 6 teams on average. Set up protocols in Bluebeam for drawing revues that made team more efficient in meeting deadlines. Set up Teams and team communication that helped with all remote workers to deliver projects in a coordinated manner. Original goal was to have training complete and Revit transition complete within one year. I met this goal in six months. Wanting to simplify my work life balance, I have moved back to individual consulting, be that as a highly experienced interior designer, a Revit guru, an environmental design researcher, the future is bright! Worked with CEO Angela Harris on her custom home in the Bahamas (At Ease). Designed and managed several custom residential projects and utilized Revit and Enscape in the design process and construction documentation of these projects. Recognizing my commercial experience and organizational experience, was tapped to organize their Technical Team and to train their designers to transition to a Revit-first design approach. My residential design projects continued. The home in the Bahamas was completed and opened for guests. The 3D renderings that I began and that Szabo Studios completed were under my direction. We leveraged our ability to view fabrics, finishes and accessories in 3D to help us strategize the extensive sourcing and delivery of the products to the remote Harbour Island location. The model, the renderings and the reality came together beautifully!

Provided interior design consultation, BIM drawing and rendering, construction documentation, FGI reporting, color and finish selection, art and lighting design for 4 major healthcare projects. Worked remotely with each architectural team to coordinate and produce drawings and interior presentations for client approvals. Detailed renderings showing accurate lighting and materials were produced.

As a Design Project Manager, I was responsible for space planning for ClearChoice Dental Implant centers. More importantly, I was charged with translating their projects to Revit and created unique equipment families and interior products toward this end. In the process, the construction document package was streamlined and refined. I was laid off due to the Coronavirus.

During the time I have been teaching at USM, the quality of our students' work has surpassed expectations. The students learned Revit, Autocad Architecture and Construction documentation. I also taught Residential design studio, drawing and rendering skills. As the Senior Capstone instructor, the students performed projects with actual clients. Presentations became my favorite activity leading to speak at ASID South Central events, Career Day and national conferences. These presentations and my work in the health care field led to my consulting work with Ochsner Facilities Development.
