Ruth's Cottage and The Patticake House is a state certified triple program of domestic violence prevention, child advocacy, and adult sexual assault advocacy provision. The domestic violence program provides emergency shelter for 25 domestic violence survivors (including men and pets), a 24/7 crisis line, and legal advocacy. The child advocacy center provides forensic interviews, forensic medical exams, and supportive advocacy services for those children who are suspected as having suffered from severe physical abuse, sexual abuser and/or witness to family violence and/or homicide. The sexual assault advocacy program provides services within 15 to 30 minutes of call to our hotline. We provide bilingual (Spanish) advocacy services in all programs. RCPCH is also a certified human trafficking advocacy program. In addition to direct service provision to victims, RCPCH provides outreach and education services in the Tifton Judicial Circuit of Tift, Turner, Worth, and Irwin Counties. Hope for Holidays is a Christmas provision program held each December for the 200-300 children served by the organization in the past year. All services are free and confidential.
