I specialize in health- and medical-related writing and editing. Much of what I've been doing lately is research, editing and typing for a forensic psychologist who assists veterans in their claims for increased disability. Other recent work has included editing two non-fiction books and rewriting a continuing education course for hospice workers. I wrote public health articles for Examiner.com. I also wrote a novel of creative non-fiction entitled "A Rose in Stained Glass" which is now back in print. I have written numbers of articles, newsletters, book reviews (Library Journal), letters to the editor (Atlantic Monthly), etc. I am presently working on another book.

I single-handedly built this new college's library from an empty room to completion of a full collection of books and journals to support the various programs (pharmacy tech, medical assistant, medical coding, etc.) I was responsible for all the ordering, cataloging, reference and bibliographic work, staff and student training, maintenance of computers, testing, etc.
