Taught 2 modules from the Brightwood College’s Allied Health Program, each with 16 students. Planned and implemented the curriculum, communicated class content in a positive and nurturing environment, fostered learning and skill building among class participants, and motivated students to achieve their educational objectives.Core Accountabilities:Prepared students with the knowledge, skills, and learning habits to have a successful career in the allied health profession.Taught allied health medical assistant principles, practices, and methodologies via textbooks, videos, computer labs, and live demonstrations.Held laboratory learning sessions, instructing on venipuncture, vital sign collection, wound care, urine pH, and injections.Created a dynamic, learner-centered environment that supports the diverse learning needs of students based on educational theory and evidence-based teaching practices.Apprised students of their progress in coursework or project completion, and worked with those who were not meeting expectations.Completed evaluations of student performance and submitted student grades on time.
