With over 30 years of experience as a physician assistant, I provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients with acute and chronic conditions at Health Choice Urgent Care. As part of a multidisciplinary team, I diagnose, treat, and manage various health issues, such as infections, injuries, allergies, and chronic diseases. I also perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, splinting, and injections.My core competencies include neurosurgery, neurosurgical oncology, internal medicine, and medical device use, which I developed from working in different settings, including hospitals, clinics, and urgent care centers. I have a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from Baylor College of Medicine, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Notre Dame. I am fluent in medical Spanish and have excellent communication skills. My mission is to provide patient-centered and evidence-based care, and to continue learning and growing as a health care professional.
