About Nancy Cox
The University of Michigan Health System and Athletic Department challenged me over thirty-five years to reach, strive and improve each and everyday to assist in benefiting the lives of others. As an Occupational Therapist I had the privilege to treat patients as a member of the Trauma Burn Team, out and inpatient hand teams as well working with breast cancer patients with lymphedema. As an assistant coach and then Head Coach of the field hockey program at Michigan I had the brilliant opportunity to recruit and grow young women, on and off the field, as teammates and contributing members to society.Retiring from Michigan in 2009 I endeavored to grow the game of field hockey in the State of Michigan and the midwest through the development of Pinnacle Field Hockey. Pinnacle is an incredible opportunity in assisting youth in navigating their hockey journeys on and off the field. Grateful each day for the families and athletes who embrace life as a Pinnacle Peep, growing in the 4 Cs -communication, confidence, courage and compassion.
