Summary of Duties: some insurance referrals, make schedule for doctors, nurses, front desk and organize Flu Shot Clinics. Watch the workflow for patient care. Handle staff and patients concerns and complaints. Attend on and off site office manager meetings. Attend to physician's needs. Interview potential new employees. Trouble shoot office equipment, i.e printers, scanners, computers, software issues. Work with internet, IT, phone vendors. Take care of building maintenance and repairs. Help staff with procedure on our EMR software. Come in before hours or stay after work hours to have equipment installed. Communicate information and changes to doctors and staff. To complete given projects in a timely manner. Type letters for physicians , nurses, insurance companies. Manage medical records for in coming patients and for patients transferring out . Organize meetings and catering for meetings. To make a positive working environment . To help The practice become more efficient .Starting in 2014. I implemented PCMH (Patient Center Medical Home) into the practice. Reporting and submitting to NCQA. Helping to keep the practice moving forward into the future.
