• Responsible for the management and oversight of all operating Budgets within Quest Diagnostics’ Southwest Region, a $685M expense base.• Led team of two direct reports in the analysis and forecasting of all functional expenses including headcount, SWB, supplies, and miscellaneous operating costs. Developed analytical tools to aid in month-end close and forward looking projections. • Key business partner to Directors of Lab Operations, Patient Services, Materials Management, Facilities, and Logistics. Chaired monthly meetings to help business leads, General Manager, and Regional Finance Director understand functional results and provided direction and guidance on necessary actions needed to achieve Budget goals.• Led Shingijutsu Kaizen team in the audit and improvement of Materials Management policies and procedures. Made recommendations on streamlining business practices in order to ensure all supplies expenses are being recognized appropriately. Project won first place in Kaizen competition and used to redesign staffing model for Materials Management department. • Led monthly reviews of department level productivity and expenses in the lab, benchmarking against sister laboratories. Deployed several continuous improvement teams to identify best practices across the Quest Diagnostics lab network and implement findings locally. Projects generated savings of ~$1M in 2018.• Developed concept of “Sales Director Controllable Margin” and designed reporting to understand footprint required to support sales growth. Educated Commercial Organization on ways to streamline cost structure required to deliver topline performance.• Responsible for maintaining control environment for fixed assets. Chief point of contact for all SOX testing within the region. • Performed due diligence associated with various regional M&A activity, including the acquisition of MedFusion, a $75M laboratory focused on advanced diagnostics and Genetics & Oncology testing.

• Served as Finance Business Partner for two projects awarded First Place in the Ken Freeman Business Improvement Competition. o 2013 – Partnered with Patient Services to develop and deploy new and innovative role, “IOP Transition Specialist,” which sped up the onboarding process for new clients. o 2014 – Developed the “PSA (external venipuncture agreement) Life Cycle” management process. Partnered with Commercial, Patient Services and Compliance Director to develop tracking mechanism and evaluation process for existing agreements, approval process and strategy for deployment of new agreements, along with associated training material. • Developed Southwest Region IOP Profitability Tool which ensured data accuracy for IOP Portfolio consisting of ~900 FTEs. Tool highlighted performance across Sales Districts and enabled accountability while also identifying opportunity, as it provided a comparison of actual performance to Commercial team’s Estimated Monthly Value. Chaired weekly reviews of IOP requests and monthly reviews of IOP Profitability with Regional Finance Director, General Manager, Executive Sales Director, and Patient Services Director. • Led local regional efforts in Chart of Accounts redesign. Established Reporting Business Unit structure to enable Sales District reporting. Created detailed, analytical tools to facilitate variance analysis and highlight potential opportunities to reduce costs.• Developed Southwest Region Financial Acumen course. Partnered with Human Resources to facilitate Financial Acumen course at yearly Regional Supervisor and Manager Leadership Academy.

• Facilitated month-end close process by efficiently preparing and posting various journal entries.• Performed monthly expense analysis, including comprehensive supplies utilization analysis.• Served as nVision and PeopleSoft tree maintenance expert for the regional Finance team. Led conversion efforts for region specific reporting from nVision to Hyperion Essbase. • Assisted in preparation and analysis of capital expenditure proposals. • Assisted in launch and training of new payment collection process, Quest Diagnostics Easy Pay (QDEP), across the Texas Gulf Coast Region.• Managed Uninsured Patient Pricing (UPP) client implementation and billing process. Ensured documentation was in place for UPP clients and monitored and released UPP orders from BIP. Reported monthly UPP billing data to key stakeholders. • Managed Draw Fee Waiver approval process for client accounts. Prepared request documentation for laboratory Managing Director, Sales Director, and Finance Controller.
