At Genius Within I am responsible for developing the psychology behind our digital products - The Genius Finder assessment and coaching companion and our e-learning. I am also the mentor to our team of developing psychologists and a part of the Director team, where I hold responsibilities for finance, public engagement and innovation strategy.

At Genius Within I lead on research, service design and innovation, strategy and finance. I am supported by a talented and diverse team and together we are improving outcomes for neuro minorities wherever they are in their careers. We work at the organizational level to address systemic inclusion, as well as with individuals and teams to release performance and talent. we also work with groups who are unemployed and incarcerated.

Genius Within CIC offers a range of different support services for neurodiverse adults in employment. We provide diagnostic assessments and in depth workplace needs assessments. We also offer traditional 1:1 coaching, awareness training, mediation and peer group coaching. We are developing innovative e-learning packages and researching how to bring this technology into maturity in our field.We are also piloting ways to bring our expertise to where people need in most. Many people who are also socially excluded are also neurodiverse. We need to understand more about how this interaction works, and the kind of approaches that will make a difference.

I write articles related to diversity, equity and inclusion, and specifically homing in on neurodiversity. I also support the neurodivergent community by amplifying the work of neurodivergent professionals and writers in book reviews and with interviews.

Continuing my research with Prof. Almuth McDowall exploring the process and success of neuroinclusion efforts in Human Resources and Management Science. I supervise neurodivergent PhD students to ensure that research is co-created - that we are involved in asking the questions, as well as participating in data collection.

I am a section editor for the new Mental Health section of the PLOS publishing portfolio, specialising in Neurodiversity and how this intersects with mental health and wellbeing.

Projects included:Dyslexia diagnosis, assessment and 1:1 coaching for adults at risk of unemployment through their dyslexic difficulties.
