As the Events Manager, I was the forward-facing event ambassador for The Society. I created, sustained and executed world-class wine events throughout the Okanagan Valley. The position included working with OWFS member wineries, sponsors, partners, and suppliers.

Ex Nihilo Vineyards is a family owned winery in the heart of Lake Country, BC. Producing a variety of beautiful wines and nestled along Lake Okanagan, we believe that extraordinary wines are a product of the passion of those who make them and the unique traits of the land that they grow. We create wines that reflect the Okanagan Valley and the unique place we call home. In a region notable for its diversity of varieties, we have refined our approach to create a true articulation of our vineyards. I was responsible for the planning and execution of our company marketing plan. This includes website development, maintenance and analysis. The development of our online strategy via planned lifestyle photo shoots and videos that are curated to support the Ex Nihilo experience and increase engagement. Creative development of e-mail marketing communication. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, MailChimp, and CRM implementation. Pitch and development of corporate dinners/private parties/annual summer concert series/fundraising events with clients, culinary team and vendors. I was the marketing lead for the Scenic Sip Trail.

Responsible for the marketing plan, planning and leading our media conference, kick-off celebration and sponsor driven events. I collaborated with departments to implement promotional campaign strategies using various platforms (tv & radio). Analyzed procedures to assess efficiency relative to goals. Designed strategies in written proposals for sponsorship engagement and retention.
