Currently a professor of psychology at Long Island University. I've taught a number of courses ranging from statistics and research methods to social and cognitive psychology. I am a firm believer that nearly everything can be measured and that data can be used to make informed decisions in just about every area of life. I enjoy mentoring students, especially as I help them to articulate research questions and turn those general questions into actionable research designs. I love the process of helping people to figure out how to use data to answer questions. When given a dataset, I can become a bit obsessed when exploring and analyzing data. Skilled in SPSS; familiar with R, SQL, Python; experienced with online data collection.
