I learned very young that thick skin, hard work, dedication, and the willingness to fail are at the very core of achieving your goals. None of which have been easily obtained. With that said each path I have traveled assisted in molding my strong belief system and me into the human I am today. I believe the majority of humans are good and want to do the right thing; at times just mislead and at times un/undereducated about the situation. I believe in being kind because each of us has our own struggles to deal with and life is hard enough. I believe being selfless is good for our soul especially when you do not want to be. I believe we are all given gifts in life and should share them whether it be our experiences, our knowledge, and/or our skills. I believe we each have encountered struggles that have made us stronger. I believe we need to give ourselves more grace and be kinder to ourselves; which I am not always good at. I believe if each of us got out of bed with the dedication to serve others, the world would be a better place. I have been ingrained with the belief that continued hard work and dedication will eventually be fruitful in the end. I get up each day and try to be a better human than the day prior. I continually learn from my mistakes. I continue to learn many new things each day. I am strong and able to take criticism, even at times when it is harsh. I am learning that some do not want to know the truth of situations and would rather live blindly. I am learning that no matter how hard you work some humans will never like you because of your hair, your voice, your position, etc. I am learning how to be okay with that. I am learning that some never will acknowledge or see your dedication and hard work and that this just means you are meant for another path as they do not deserve you. I believe my accomplishments speak volumes more than my words ever could. I believe the voices of those I have served will always be louder than my own. I can state all of the things I have done and participated in over the years and of course, those have added flare to my CV however, anyone can speak words. I have worked in the trenches and worked over the top of them. I have led many successful operations in my personal and professional life. I have also failed. I have also allowed my emotions to guide me, and my mind to be distracted. However, I have learned everything is not directed at you. Today, I describe myself as what you see is what you get. An energetic, enthusiastic, multifaceted, uniquely smart, whirlwind, who gives 100% of herself at all times.
