I am an independent primary care consultant to academic departments, health systems, clinical practices and industry wishing to start, improve or re-energize their primary care research and scholarship, practice-based research, or primary care quality improvement programs. I also mentor novice researchers, clinicians or faculty in research skills, grant writing, manuscript writing and academic success/work-life balance. My services are built on my 30+ years experience as a practicing Family Physician, primary care researcher and educator and director of research and practice-based research networks, as well as a decade of research mentoring. My work strives to improve the quality and safety of care provided in primary care and the primary care experience for physicians, providers, staff and patients.
