Responsible for import and export regulatory compliance. Assigned the role of "Empowered Official" to monitor, facilitate and process all export license applications (including Technical Assistance and Manufacturing License Agreements) for ITAR and EAR controlled items as well as the establishment and oversight of "best practice" procedures toward essential compliance controls within sales and marketing.Duties include: preparation of export licenses and agreements under ITAR and EAR, export and import records management, in-house compliance training, reviewing anti-dumping cases and sunset reviews pertaining to foreign bearings and Harmonized Tariff Classifications of foreign manufactured military articles and coordination of international orders with freight forwarders and import brokers
