Responsible for College Planning and academic advising

Oversee a guidance staff of five, migrant advocate, and SAFE coordinator, who all participate in a comprehensive guidance program. Attend Administration meetings, district meetings and AP meetings. Responsible for scheduling, classroom presentations, college placement, evening presentations, scholarships and oversee testing (FCAT, SAT, ACT, PSAT, AP and EOC's).

Assumed grade level responsibilities. Provided personal, career, and educational advising as well as assisting in the comprehensive guidance programs. Was a member of the SST Team and Academic Achievement Gap Committees. Assisted in scheduling, college placement, evening presentations, NCAA clearinghouse registration, group counseling career placement.

Worked with young adults 16-20 in full day adult education setting. Provided personal, career and academic counseling. Assisting in college and career planning. NCAA advising, and testing
